Bethesda Eventide Homes provide residential care for up to 27 residents, including those living with the early stages of dementia. The Homes are set in a picturesque residential area, close to the beautiful Christchurch park and only a short distance from Ipswich town centre.
The modern and recently refurbished home boasts comfortable lounge and dining areas, spacious living and resting areas where residents meet together for meals and to socialise with each other, and a dedicated quiet lounge, which can be used at times when more privacy is required or for family gatherings.
The friendly professional care team support residents in a person-centred approach which promotes independence, choice, dignity and respect at all times.
Our commitment to our Residents
Our dedicated staff provide friendly, professional support and assistance to residents, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Each resident has their own care plan, tailored to their individual needs, which promotes independence, choice, dignity and respect.
All staff are comprehensively trained in-house and are led by a full time, experienced Home Manager. In addition to this, a full time Care Manager oversees the individual care of each resident, supported by Senior Team Leaders who are on hand, any time of the day or night.
For Residents who require regular medication as part of their care, the Homes provide a dedicated team of qualified Medication Assistants who are on hand to administer and advise on any required medication. Regular liaison with an associated GP surgery enables the home to arrange regular weekly visits by GPs and Medical Advisors, where required.
A full housekeeping and laundry service is available to Residents together with a choice of freshly prepared meals from the varied, home-cooked menu . Meals can be served either in the spacious dining room, or, if they prefer, Residents can enjoy their meals in their own home.
Our Homes
Here at Bethesda Eventide Homes, we like to think of our surroundings as a “home-from-home” for our residents. When joining us, we encourage residents to personalise their space with their own furniture, keepsakes and personal belongings in order to promote a comfortable, safe and homely environment that encourages personal independence.
All homes are well equipped with modern en-suite bathroom facilities, comfortable sleeping and living areas and are fitted with TV and telephone points, as well as our personal call system. We also offer WiFi internet access and SKY TV is also available on request.
Dedicated to providing Spiritual Care
The Homes are closely associated to Bethesda Baptist Church in Ipswich and so residents are supported in their desire to attend church services.
We host regular services and devotional times are a popular part of our in-house activities program. Whilst we offer considerable support to those residents who wish to celebrate their Christian values, we also welcome residents from all faiths and lifestyles to join our community.
Comprehensive Social Activities Program
Our daily activities program provides a selection of varied, fun, social sessions for residents which encourage interaction with staff and other residents in a friendly, informal environment.
The Homes dedication to providing regular social care to Residents is seen to aid health and wellbeing, as well as building confidence and lasting friendships within the home.
Our in-house Activities Co-ordinator enables us to run a popular daily program as well as events and excursions where participation and support from family, friends and the wider community is encouraged.
Bethesda Eventide Homes residential carehome in Ipswich is a registered charity (1051043) and currently is managed by 7 trustees who have responsibility for ensuring the organisation and management of the Home meets all legal requirements and is financially viable.
